This month is packed with exciting days! Be sure to recognize Small Business Saturday on the 6th, and don’t forget Monkey Day on the 14th. And as we drift into the winter solstice on the 21st, let’s also prepare for all the joy of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day on the 24th and 25th, respectively. Let’s not forget Hogmanay, or as the rest of the world calls it, New Year’s Eve on the 31st! And remember our advent calendar promotions—25 days of discounts just for you!

Also, don’t forget we will be at the Paisley Town Hall twice this month:

The Paisley Night Market – Friday, 5th December 6pm – 9pm

Ho! Ho! Ho!

We hope you are enjoying our Christmas range of craft kits, we’ve tried to add a few new gift ideas to the range this year.

This month sees some other celebrated days to get you in the festive mood, like Christmas Jumper Day (7th), Panto Day (15th) – I know what you’re thinking, “Oh no it’s not!” but “Oh yes it is!” Who can resist a good Panto? There is also the Winter Solstice (21st) where winter officially begins and the nights become longer than daylight hours, but don’t think of it as a negative, as on a clear night those in the North can catch glimpses of Aurora Borealis and those further south can head away from the lights of the towns and cities to catch a stargazing event (fun fact, organised events can sometimes have food trucks that sell that all important hot chocolate, which is a must for this time of year. Obviously we have Christmas Eve (24th), Christmas Day (25th) and Boxing Day (26th) occurring. Then at the end of the month we have Hogmanay (31st) to allow us to ring in the new year.

However you are celebrating Christmas (hopefully crafting with one of our awesome kits), we hope you enjoy it.

If you have anything you would like to share with our team, please drop us an email we love hearing from you.

So until our catch-up next month, stay safe.

December News!

It’s the most, wonderful time…..of the year!

This month sees World Wildlife Conservation Day (4th) to raise awareness in help preserving the worlds’ most endangered species.   Christmas jumpers at the ready for Christmas Jumper Day (14th), I know I have mine at the ready and nothing confirms winter is here like the Winter Solstice (21st), the day of the year where we have the shortest hours of daylight – just under 8 hours – or as I like to see it, less time until you get to go home and curl up in comfy clothes with some hot chocolate!

Of course we can’t forget Christmas Day (25th) – but you already knew that, and lastly Hogmanay (31st) where it’s out with the old and in with the new.

Speaking of Christmas, it is fast approaching and whether it’s everyone in cosy jumpers, Christmas tunes in every shop or ‘Home Alone’ on every night, you’ll not be allowed to forget it!

Here at HQ it’s no exception, decorations aplenty, twinkly lights, hot chocolate and Christmas music – all to get us in the mood for “Santa! I know him.” – Elf

That does not mean it’s not been a busy few weeks, getting peak Christmas order ready and organising new designs for our Christmas range.

But until our next catch-up next month,  “Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”
