Reflecting on a Busy December and an Exciting January

Our Apologies for December’s Hiccups

We would like to sincerely apologise to everyone who placed orders or tried to in December. Our website experienced an unexpected surge in traffic, and it couldn’t quite keep up! Thankfully, we’ve sorted out the issues now, and we appreciate your patience as we navigated through that chaos.

Highlights of January

As we step into January, there are some neat dates to keep on your radar! From National Shortbread Day on the 6th to Penguin Awareness Day on the 20th, and not forgetting Squirrel Appreciation Day on the 21st, there’s plenty to celebrate. We can’t overlook the fantastic International LEGO Day on the 28th and the culturally rich Burns Night on the 30th. Make sure to mark your calendars!

Looking Ahead with the Craft Box

With the bustling Christmas season behind us and a whirlwind of craft fairs at Paisley Town Hall completed, it’s refreshing to take a breath. Meeting so many new and potential customers was a delight! January gives us a chance to reflect on the previous year and reassess our goals for the Craft Box. While we don’t have any markets/fairs scheduled for January, we’re buzzing with excitement for more events in 2026. Stay tuned—it’s only the beginning!

As we pull the curtain on another wonderful year at the Craft Box, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude. It’s been a busy year of creativity, and your support has been the magic that fuelled our journey. As the festive season draws near, we’re excited to share what we have in store for you!

Mark Your Calendars for Festivities!

This month is packed with exciting days! Be sure to recognize Small Business Saturday on the 6th, and don’t forget Monkey Day on the 14th. And as we drift into the winter solstice on the 21st, let’s also prepare for all the joy of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day on the 24th and 25th, respectively. Let’s not forget Hogmanay, or as the rest of the world calls it, New Year’s Eve on the 31st! And remember our advent calendar promotions—25 days of discounts just for you!

Summer Holidays Are Almost Here!

Can you believe it? The summer holidays are just around the corner! It feels like just yesterday we were welcoming the new year, and now we’re diving headfirst into sunshine and good times.

This month is packed with events that call for celebrations and reflections. First up, we have World Ocean’s Day on the 8th! It’s an important reminder to appreciate our beautiful oceans and the incredible life they support. Make sure to take a moment to think about how you can help keep our oceans clean.

Don’t forget about Father’s Day on the 15th! It’s the perfect time to show your appreciation for the special dads in your life, whether it’s through a homemade card or a heartfelt gift. Then, as we soar towards the end of the month, the summer solstice on the 20th offers a chance to celebrate the longest day of the year and soak in the glorious sunshine!

And let’s not forget about June 25th – Global Beatles Day! A day dedicated to the legendary band that changed music forever. Blast their tunes and let the good vibes flow!

Furthermore, the upcoming Spring Bank Holiday on May 26th in the UK presents a perfect opportunity to dedicate time towards creative endeavours. Set aside your regular routine to experiment with new techniques, gather supplies on your next craft fair visit, or simply indulge in a day of artistic inspiration. Enhancing your creativity during this month can lead to a fulfilling sense of accomplishment and joy.
