Reflecting on a Busy December and an Exciting January

Our Apologies for December’s Hiccups

We would like to sincerely apologise to everyone who placed orders or tried to in December. Our website experienced an unexpected surge in traffic, and it couldn’t quite keep up! Thankfully, we’ve sorted out the issues now, and we appreciate your patience as we navigated through that chaos.

Highlights of January

As we step into January, there are some neat dates to keep on your radar! From National Shortbread Day on the 6th to Penguin Awareness Day on the 20th, and not forgetting Squirrel Appreciation Day on the 21st, there’s plenty to celebrate. We can’t overlook the fantastic International LEGO Day on the 28th and the culturally rich Burns Night on the 30th. Make sure to mark your calendars!

Looking Ahead with the Craft Box

With the bustling Christmas season behind us and a whirlwind of craft fairs at Paisley Town Hall completed, it’s refreshing to take a breath. Meeting so many new and potential customers was a delight! January gives us a chance to reflect on the previous year and reassess our goals for the Craft Box. While we don’t have any markets/fairs scheduled for January, we’re buzzing with excitement for more events in 2026. Stay tuned—it’s only the beginning!

As we pull the curtain on another wonderful year at the Craft Box, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude. It’s been a busy year of creativity, and your support has been the magic that fuelled our journey. As the festive season draws near, we’re excited to share what we have in store for you!

Mark Your Calendars for Festivities!

This month is packed with exciting days! Be sure to recognize Small Business Saturday on the 6th, and don’t forget Monkey Day on the 14th. And as we drift into the winter solstice on the 21st, let’s also prepare for all the joy of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day on the 24th and 25th, respectively. Let’s not forget Hogmanay, or as the rest of the world calls it, New Year’s Eve on the 31st! And remember our advent calendar promotions—25 days of discounts just for you!

That’s right, folks! Just one more sleep until the highly anticipated Paisley Halloween Market descends upon us. If you haven’t grabbed your ticket yet, what are you waiting for? Head over to this link and secure your entry, with free entry after 4 PM for all those in full shiny, scary, or downright creative costumes. You won’t want to miss out on the fun!

A Day Full of Eerie Entertainment

Join us in the main hall from 11 AM until 6 PM where the Halloween market will be, for a spooktacular day filled with autumnal vibes and ghostly delights. Expect a plethora of activities around the Town Hall to keep the Halloween spirit alive. Take part in the ‘Best Dressed’ fancy dress competition. Who knows? You could walk away with some fang-tastic prizes!

But wait, there’s more! There will also be a pumpkin carving station where you can unleash your inner artist—bring your own pumpkin and let your creativity run wild! Please note the Paisley Halloween Festival start on Friday, 24th October 2025, but the Market in the Town Hall will only be there on Saturday, 25th October 2025.
