This month, there are a couple of recognised days to watch out for like Candle Day (7th – perfect excuse for getting some new candles), Monkey Day (14th), Winter Solstice (21st), Christmas Eve (24th), Christmas Day (25th) and Hogmanay (31st – or as the rest of world calls it, New Years Eve).

Festive crafting

The festive season will be upon us before you know it and if you’re looking for some crafting gifts then we have some goodies for you. This month sees the return of our hot chocolate bauble gift set, which was a massive hit at our last craft fair. Our Christmas range will be going live also, so watch out for that.

This month, there are a couple of recognised days to watch out for like International Coffee Day (1st – as if we need an excuse here at HQ to drink more coffee) and World Mental Heath Day (10th), Back to the Future Day (21st), National Pumpkin Day (26th) – so make a family day of it, why not go to a pumpkin patch and pick your pumpkins for carving (or simply pick them up at the supermarket and having a carving competition) and of course Halloween (31st).

Autumn crafting time!

It’s that time of year when all us crafters dig out our Autumn craft stash and create all those awesome cards, scrapbook pages, home crafts, etc. in all those warm hues of orange, brown, red and golden yellow. Even if that is just me, I’m really looking forward to it this year.

This month, there are a couple of cool days to watch out for like International Cat Day (8th), National Dog Day (26th) and National Beach Day (30th) – for those who need an excuse to go to the beach, that one is for you.

(Summer) holidays are coming…(summer) holidays are coming…

Can you believe it’s nearly summer holiday time? This year has seriously flew in already!

There are some cool days in June, like National Best Friends Day (8th) – a good time to spend some time with your bestie, or this is always a good excuse to go find one if you don’t have one already. We also have International Blood Donor Day (14th), whether you’re a regular who hasn’t been in awhile or you’ve always wanted to give blood, I always think if you can, you should (if you’re O Negative like me, you’re a universal donor so you’re blood is especially important to our NHS). After all the feeling of saving a life is rewarding. We also have Father’s Day (16th), Summer Solstice (20th) and we have International Pineapple Day (27th), I’ll just leave that there as I’m not sure what to say about that one lol.
